Coronado Girls (Soccer) Corral Mission Bay

The Coronado HS girls thrashed Mission Bay HS on Wednesday, 4-0, in the semifinals of the Div. III CIF San Diego Section playoffs at Coronado. Scoring for the Islanders were Lauren Tobin, Kaitlyn Couture, MacKenzie Coutts and Olivia Auvil. Coronado moves on to the finals on Saturday to face La Jolla HS, which earned a 3-2 win over Cathedral Catholic on Wednesday.

Dishing out the assists for Coronado (15-3-5) were Mallory Mitchell and Couture. They handed out one assist apiece and combined to set up the third goal; Coronado's fourth goal was unassisted. GK Andrea Davis made sure the game was never in doubt by pitching a three-save shutout.
