Trant Manor: The Straw That Broke The Camel's Back

Neighborhood residents in the vicinity of Adella Avenue/A Avenue/Ynez Place have had enough. After years of living through noise, dirt, parking issues, detours, structures moved, excavation, shaking ground and basically a war zone . . . this was the final straw...

...today, the residents received a notice from the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The Trant Manor LLC (applicant) has applied for a liquor license to serve beer and wine from 6AM to 2AM. They'd also like to play recorded music during this time period. If the ABC approves this request, that allows the nearby residents exactly four hours of peace and quiet (or sleep) a night. The application also states that "hours and entertainment are decided by the business owner and may change."
